HTC U Ultra is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), with a 77 score against 71.6. Although it's the best phone in this review, the HTC U Ultra construction is older, just a bit heavier and a little thicker than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2). The HTC U Ultra has a better screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a way higher pixels amount per inch in the screen.
HTC U Ultra and Asus ZenFone Max (M2) have similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) and the HTC U Ultra count with extremely similar processing units, and although the HTC U Ultra has less cpu cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount.
Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has better battery duration than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 33 percent more battery size. The HTC U Ultra takes a little bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition and a back-facing camera with a worse 12 mega pixels resolution, they both have the same aperture.
