The Huawei Mate 50E has a general score of 78.9, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s score of 71.6. Huawei Mate 50E has HarmonyOS 3 operating system, and Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The Huawei Mate 50E design is extremely newer than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s, although it's a little bit thicker and way heavier.
Huawei Mate 50E features a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 50E also has a larger amount of RAM.
