Motorola Moto G7 Plus is a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), with a global score of 76.1 against 71.6. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Motorola Moto G7 Plus has the previous 10 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although it's the best we compare here, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus is an a little heavier and just a bit thicker phone than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2).
Motorola Moto G7 Plus's processor is very similar to Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s processor, they have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus has a sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2270 and a much greater screen density.
Moto G7 Plus has just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Moto G7 Plus also has a more MP back facing camera and a larger aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited environments.
Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has much more storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max (M2) also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) features superior battery performance than Moto G7 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
