Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s 71.6 general score. Galaxy S8 is an older and just a little thicker cellphone than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), but Samsung could make it just a little bit lighter anyway. Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M2). They have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a much more vibrant display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater screen pixels density and a way better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Samsung Galaxy S8 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a camera with less megapixels and a worse video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better images in low light situations.
