Comparison review
Xperia XZs has a global score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s overall score of 71.6. Although it's the best cellphone we compare here, the Xperia XZs body is older, a little heavier and just a bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2). The Xperia XZs features a bit more powerful CPU than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have 4 GB of RAM.
The Xperia XZs counts with a brighter display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920. Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XZs, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Sony Xperia XZs shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light photos, and they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with better video frame rates and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 38 percent larger battery capacity.
