Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is much better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), with a overall score of 82.3 against 71.6. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 construction is thicker and notably heavier than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2). These devices work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has the previous 10 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a much higher pixels density, a little bit larger screen and a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 shoots greater videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a battery life that is just as good as Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s battery lifetime.
