Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a general score of 91.5, which is a lot better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s 71.6 overall score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's design is a lot newer, but heavier and thicker than Asus ZenFone Max (M2). Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has older 12 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a much better looking screen than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a higher number of pixels per display inch, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite larger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a way better camera than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photography and video and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a bit longer battery life than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
