IPhone 12 has a score of 88.7, which is a lot better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s 73.1 overall score. IPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The iPhone 12 body is newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1).
IPhone 12 has a faster CPU than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has 2 lesser cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. Apple iPhone 12 features a much better looking display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because it has way more screen brightness, a quite better 1170 x 2532px resolution, a little larger screen and a little bit greater pixels number per inch of screen.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a much bigger memory for apps and games than iPhone 12, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Apple iPhone 12 features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a way better battery life than iPhone 12, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 2815mAh.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), giving up some features and specs.
