The Apple iPhone SE (2020) is much better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with an 81.5 score against 73.1. The Apple iPhone SE (2020) body is newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). The Apple iPhone SE (2020) has iOS 15.x operating system, while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a little sharper screen than iPhone SE (2020), because although it has way less brightness, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2160 resolution, a larger display and a quite higher number of pixels per inch of screen. The iPhone SE (2020) has a superior processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit processor.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a very superior battery duration than iPhone SE (2020), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 1821mAh.
IPhone SE (2020) features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower video resolution and a camera with less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
Although Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone SE (2020), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), resigning some features and specifications.
