The Asus ZenFone 8 has an overall score of 83, which is better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s 73.1 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ZenFone 8 has the older 11 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
