Comparison review
HTC One M9 is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having a overall score of 77.7 against 73.1. These phones include Android operating system, but HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the HTC One M9 is notably older and thicker than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), it's design is still lighter.
The HTC One M9 has a more powerful CPU than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit. HTC One M9 features a brighter display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a really longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The HTC One M9 captures clearer videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same video quality and a same size aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a much better 20 megapixels resolution camera and faster video frame rate.
