Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having a global score of 77 against 73.1. The HTC U Ultra is an older cellphone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but HTC was able to build it just a little thinner and just a bit lighter. HTC U Ultra has a bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better pixel density.
HTC U Ultra has a processor that is just as good as the processing unit in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although the HTC U Ultra has 4 less cores (although faster), they both have a 4 GB RAM memory. HTC U Ultra captures clearer videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a camera in the back with lesser MP and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a bigger aperture.
The HTC U Ultra has as much storage for apps and games as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) one, both of them have a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and exactly the same internal memory. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a very superior battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
