Moto G8 Plus has a general score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s 73.1 general score. Even though Moto G8 Plus is newer than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), it is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a little bit better display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Moto G8 Plus has a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). Both have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM. Moto G8 Plus features a much better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same video quality, the Moto G8 Plus also has better video frame rate, a way bigger aperture and a back facing camera with a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has better battery duration than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
