Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s 73.1 overall score. The Galaxy S5 is an incredibly older device than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but it's lighter and a little thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy S5 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Galaxy S5 features a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixel density. The Galaxy S5 counts with a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 79% bigger battery size.

Galaxy S5 has just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S5 also has a better 16 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and faster 30 frames per second video frame rate.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
