The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.4, which is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s global score of 73.1. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy S6 body is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Galaxy S6 counts with a better processor than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processing unit. The Galaxy S6 features a brighter display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures, better video frame rates and a camera in the back with a better 16 MP resolution.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2550mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 costs more money than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
