The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is way better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with a overall score of 91.1 against 73.1. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the previous 14 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a notably thinner but heavier phone than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1).

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a much more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a little bit inferior amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1968 x 2184px, a way larger display and a much brighter display.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because it has a way better resolution back camera and a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in low light situations.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
