Sony Xperia Z3 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with a 77.3 score against 73.1. Even though the Sony Xperia Z3 is much older and a bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), it's design is still just a little lighter. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Z3 has an older 4.4.4 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Sony Xperia Z3 features a more vivid display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a quite smaller display and a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixel density and more screen brightness. The Xperia Z3 has just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 56 percent bigger battery size.

Sony Xperia Z3 is not only the best devices between the ones we are comparing, but it's also very cheap compared to the other devices.
