Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), getting a 77.5 score against 73.1. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an older and heavier cellphone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but Xiaomi managed to make it just a bit thinner anyway. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit superior processing unit than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has just a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it has a back-facing camera with less megapixels resolution and a lower video quality, they both have a F2.2 aperture.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better battery performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
