Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having a score of 76.2 against 73.1. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi MIX has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Xiaomi Mi MIX body is a little thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it is heavier and was released around 18 months before.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has less bright screen and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a just a bit better pixels density. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a much better memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features a little bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it has lesser cpu cores (but faster), they both have a 4 GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi MIX shoots clearer pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also has a back facing camera with a better 16 MP resolution, a larger camera aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments and faster 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), resigning a couple specs and features.
