Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a general score of 75.7, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s general score of 73.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has 12 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro's construction is a lot newer and a little thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s, although it is just a little heavier.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a really superior performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a little more vivid display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a quite worse count of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit larger screen, much more brightness and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture, a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and higher video frame rates.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery performance in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1).
