Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), getting a global score of 75.8 against 73.1. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the previous 8.0 Oreo version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro design is a little heavier but just a bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and they were released only a couple months apart.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. They have the same amount of pixels per inch in the screen, an equal 1080 x 2160 resolution and a display of the same size. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit more powerful CPU than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has a back facing camera with more MP and a way better (4K) video resolution.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
