ZTE Axon 20 has a general score of 77.8, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s global score of 73.1. ZTE Axon 20's body is extremely newer and a bit thinner than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s, but it is a bit heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the ZTE Axon 20 has 10 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The ZTE Axon 20 features a little better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have 8 cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a bit more vivid display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2160px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixel quantity per inch in the screen.

The ZTE Axon 20 captures greater photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have the same video definition, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a camera in the back with a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution, a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low light situations and better video frame rate.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a much better storage to store more games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features greater battery duration than ZTE Axon 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although ZTE Axon 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy ZTE Axon 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), giving up some features and specifications.
