The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), with a general score of 79.5 against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has just a little better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
