Asus ZenFone 7 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a score of 83.9 against 77.4. Asus ZenFone 7's design is newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). Both of these phones include Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 7 has an older 11 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Asus ZenFone 7 has a little faster processing unit than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a just a little lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, much more brightness and a quite larger screen.
The Asus ZenFone 7 and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) both have very similar memory for games and applications, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 features a battery life that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2).
The Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a lot better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same aperture, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a camera with a way higher 64 MP resolution and a much bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and pictures.
