Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting a general score of 90.5 against 77.4. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's construction is newer, but heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the previous 10 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, although it has a bit worse pixel count in each inch of display, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a little smaller screen. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G takes greater photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has a way larger back camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs, a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images, higher video frame rates and a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
