Motorola Moto G9 Plus is slightly better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), with a general score of 80.5 against 77.4. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Motorola Moto G9 Plus has an older 10 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Motorola Moto G9 Plus's construction is newer than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s, although it's somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a little faster processor than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit better screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixels density.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus shoots much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution and a much bigger sensor capturing lot better quality photos and videos.
The Moto G9 Plus's battery performance is very similar to the battery life in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2).
