Samsung Galaxy A31 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), with a score of 81.3 against 77.4. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A31 has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy A31's construction is newer than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s, although it's just a little heavier and just a little thicker.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A31, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a superior camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a camera with way more megapixels and a much larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photos.

Galaxy A31's battery duration is just as good as the battery lifetime in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2).
