The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has an overall score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A70's 76.9 global score. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) construction is a little lighter but just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A70, and they were released with only 5 months difference. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A70 has Android 10 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy A70, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A70. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A70, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photos and a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality photos and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A70, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
