Galaxy A9 (2018) is better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), with an 85.2 score against 77.4. The Galaxy A9 (2018) construction is just a little heavier but a bit thinner than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and both were released only 1 months apart. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a slightly better 1080 x 2280 resolution and a just a little better pixel density.
The Galaxy A9 (2018)'s CPU is just as good as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) one, they have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has better battery performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3800mAh. The Galaxy A9 (2018) captures slightly better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a much higher resolution camera, a larger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos.
