Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max's 76.1 score. Although Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is just a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, it's a little bit lighter and also newer. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version, offering a couple nice extra features and optimized performance.
The Galaxy J7 Max's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although the Galaxy J7 Max has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280px, a quite better quantity of pixels in each inch of display and a little bit bigger display.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 52 percent more battery size.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera and a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
