Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s score of 77.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), it is noticeably heavier and extremely thicker. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the older 8.0 Oreo version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a slightly better looking screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and videos in low-light environments and a tinier back camera sensor shooting lower quality images and videos, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also counts with a much higher video resolution.
