The Xperia 1 II is much better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a 91 score against 77.4. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 II has 11 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although the Xperia 1 II is just a little heavier than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), it's a little thinner and newer.

Xperia 1 II features a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 II also has more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 II has a little sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has way more pixels per inch of screen, a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a bit bigger screen.
