Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s general score of 77.4. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 VI has the previous 14 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie. Sony Xperia 1 VI's body is noticeably thinner and much lighter than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2).

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has an extremely better processing unit than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xperia 1 VI features a bit more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a much higher pixel count per inch of screen, a quite bigger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.

The Xperia 1 VI counts with just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory. The Xperia 1 VI and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) have quite similar battery durations.

Xperia 1 VI features a lot better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same video quality, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a back camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution, better 120 frames per second video frame rates and a lot bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
