Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s 77.4 global score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) were released with only a few months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner. Xiaomi Mi 9 has just a bit better display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a brighter display, a quite greater screen pixels density, a little bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much greater memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit better processor than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cpu cores.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 52 percent bigger battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi 9 captures way better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a back camera with way more mega pixels, better video frame rates and a much larger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs.
