Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a overall score of 77.5 against 77.4. Although Xiaomi Mi Max is a lot older and somewhat heavier than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), it's construction is still just a bit thinner. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a just a bit greater number of pixels per inch of screen. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features just a bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Xiaomi Mi Max captures slightly better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.
