Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is much better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a overall score of 91.5 against 77.4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a much newer phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), although it is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has 12 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has just a little better performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer counts with a slightly better looking display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with much more brightness, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bigger screen.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 16% greater battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a very superior camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a bigger diafragm aperture for better images in poorly lited environments and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
