Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a score of 77.4 against 75.7. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a older and just a bit thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Asus managed to build it just a little lighter anyway. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, giving a couple additional features.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a much more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a little bit better screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400, a quite larger screen and a really brighter screen.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro have extremely similar batteries duration.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher 50 MP resolution and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
