Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a general score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 score. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo, providing you some nice extra features and optimized performance. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is a newer and just a bit lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it is a bit thicker.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2280px resolution and a quite larger display.
