Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's global score of 76.6. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s body is somewhat lighter and a little thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, despite of the fact that it was released about a year before. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, giving a couple nice extra features.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a higher amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a superior camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a way larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery duration in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
