ZTE Axon 20 has a general score of 77.8, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s 77.4 global score. ZTE Axon 20's construction is incredibly newer and a little thinner, but also heavier than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2). Both of these phones include Android OS, but ZTE Axon 20 has 10 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit sharper display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2280, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The ZTE Axon 20 counts with just a little better performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have 8 cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a higher amount of RAM.
ZTE Axon 20 has a much better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photos and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video definition, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a much bigger sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality, a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and better 60 fps video frame rate.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with much more memory for apps and games than ZTE Axon 20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features superior battery life than ZTE Axon 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4220mAh.
