Moto Z2 Play has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone V's 70.5 general score. The Moto Z2 Play is a thinner and just a little lighter cellphone than the Asus ZenFone V, even though both were only released with a couple months difference. Asus ZenFone V features a bit sharper screen than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Asus ZenFone V also counts with a bit greater number of pixels per inch of display.
The Moto Z2 Play features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone V, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play features a bit more powerful CPU than Asus ZenFone V, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto Z2 Play also has a higher number of cores.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play's battery duration is just as good as the battery lifetime in Asus ZenFone V. The Asus ZenFone V shoots clearer photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Asus ZenFone V also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play not only is the best phones in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other phones.
