Nokia N78 is a bit better than the BlackBerry Bold 9700, getting a general score of 40.8 against 37.5. The Nokia N78 comes with Symbian 9.3 operating system, and BlackBerry Bold 9700 has BlackBerry 5.0.x operating system. Nokia N78 is an older and a little bit thicker device than the BlackBerry Bold 9700, but Nokia was able to build it somewhat lighter anyway.

Nokia N78 has just a little better performance than BlackBerry Bold 9700, because it has a greater number of faster cores. BlackBerry Bold 9700 counts with a little bit better display than Nokia N78, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 also has a way better 360 x 480 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
