The Galaxy A40 is slightly better than the BlackBerry KEY2, with a general score of 79.6 against 75.4. The Galaxy A40 design is newer, just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than the BlackBerry KEY2. The BlackBerry KEY2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the BlackBerry KEY2 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A40 features a display that is just as good as the screen in BlackBerry KEY2, although the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a lot bigger display and a little bit more pixels per inch of screen. BlackBerry KEY2 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have a 0.36 inches back-facing camera sensor, the BlackBerry KEY2 also counts with a much better (4K) video definition.
The BlackBerry KEY2 has a better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. The BlackBerry KEY2 features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
