The Alcatel IDOL 5 has a score of 67.9, which is just a bit better than BlackBerry Leap's general score of 61.9. The Alcatel IDOL 5 construction is noticeably newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than the BlackBerry Leap. Alcatel IDOL 5 features a bit better performance than BlackBerry Leap, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Alcatel IDOL 5 also counts with more processing cores.

Alcatel IDOL 5 features a little bit better screen than BlackBerry Leap, because it has a little bigger screen, a lot better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a higher number of pixels per inch of screen. Alcatel IDOL 5 counts with a way better camera than BlackBerry Leap, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Alcatel IDOL 5 also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
