The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a general score of 79.5, which is better than Blackview Oscal Tiger 12's 71.5 overall score. The Asus ROG Phone 8 design is a little thicker and somewhat heavier than the Blackview Oscal Tiger 12. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version and Blackview Oscal Tiger 12 has Android 13 version.
The Blackview Oscal Tiger 12 features a much more powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Blackview Oscal Tiger 12 counts with a much better display than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Blackview Oscal Tiger 12 also has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2460px, a little bit higher screen density and way more brightness.
Blackview Oscal Tiger 12 features more memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes way better photos and videos than Blackview Oscal Tiger 12, although it has a lot lower 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Blackview Oscal Tiger 12, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
