Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a lot better than the Essential Phone, with a general score of 81.6 against 66.3. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an extremely older and just a little bit thicker device than Essential Phone, but Samsung made it a bit lighter anyway. The Galaxy Note 4 features a little better performance than Essential Phone, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 lesser processing cores , it also counts with an additional GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a more vivid display than Essential Phone, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a quite better display pixels density and a quite better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy Note 4 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Essential Phone, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality photos and a back camera with more mega-pixels.
The Essential Phone has much more storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit longer battery life than Essential Phone, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3040mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also cheaper than the other phone, which makes buying this phone a simple decision.
