The Galaxy S6 is a lot better than the Gionee Marathon M5, with an 87.3 score against 55. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Gionee Marathon M5 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Galaxy S6 design is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than Gionee Marathon M5, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference.
Galaxy S6 features a much more powerful CPU than Gionee Marathon M5, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster), a GPU, a 64-bits CPU and a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much more vibrant display than Gionee Marathon M5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot higher pixel density.
