The Huawei Mate X is better than the Google Nexus 6, having an 89.4 score against 81.1. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS, but Huawei Mate X has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Google Nexus 6 has Android 5.1 version, so it offers lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Google Nexus 6 counts with a bit better camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much lower resolution back facing camera and a smaller aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Nexus 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Google Nexus 6, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
