The Google Nexus 6 has a general score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 global score. Google Nexus 6's construction is incredibly heavier and much thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S5. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Google Nexus 6 has a newer 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, providing you some extra features.

Galaxy S5 features a bit more vivid screen than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density. Google Nexus 6 has just a little better performance than Galaxy S5. They have a Quad-Core processing unit, a 500 megahertz GPU and 3 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 features just a bit better camera than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a camera in the back with more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy S5 features a slightly bigger storage to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 6, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB. The Google Nexus 6 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 15% more battery size.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S5, giving up a couple specifications.
