Comparison review
Google Nexus 6 has a global score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 global score. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Google Nexus 6 has a newer 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, providing the user some nice extra features and performance optimizations. Google Nexus 6 is a somewhat thicker and heavier cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Sport.
The Google Nexus 6 features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Google Nexus 6 also has a higher amount of RAM and a faster graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a little sharper screen than Google Nexus 6, although it has a just a little worse pixels density, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller screen.
The Galaxy S5 Sport shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Google Nexus 6 counts with more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Google Nexus 6 features just a little better battery performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a couple specifications.
